Copic colouring

I've been practicing my colouring with copic markers lately.

Here's the latest effort! A birthday card for a family member in purples and greens. Not only was the main feature birthday cake coloured by hand, the background was too! It took quite a while.

The stamps are from the Happy Birthday stamp and die set from Stampin' Up. The top of the cake was stamped multiple times around a central oval area, coloured, and then cut out with a thinlits nested die set. The rest of it was layered with coloured cardstock. With a strip of ribbon underneath, the only other major craft item used was some perfect pearls to accent the centre of the flowers.
